Amanda “Mandy” Thomas had a passion for the law at the young age of 13, when she joined the high school mock trial team. She graduated Forrest City High School as valedictorian and moved to Conway, Arkansas to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas in three years as an Honors College student. She majored in Economics with an emphasis in International Trade and graduated with honors in the summer of 2003. While attending UCA, she was an active member of Alpha Sigma Alpha and the Honors College. After graduation, she then moved to France, teaching English and traveling the European continent.
Mandy started law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in September 2004. As a law student, she made the Dean’s List, served on the executive board of the Garland Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, successfully competed in mock trial competitions, and maintained a clerkship in a local law firm. She also attended Downing College at Cambridge University in England in the summer of 2006. She graduated law school in May of 2007 and started the Masters of Law program in the fall on a full scholarship. Mandy graduated the Masters of Law program in Agricultural Law in May 2008.
Before joining the firm, Mandy traveled the United States as a consultant for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, advising and counseling law students from California to North Carolina. She continues her active membership in Phi Alpha Delta as Assistant District VIII Justice, Alumni Advisor, and a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee.
Her main practice areas are transactional law, elder law, including estate planning, and bankruptcy.
